How cold does it get?

All four models freeze with air at -40°F evaporating temperature, taking product to frozen storage temperature (0°F or below). A batch takes about 12 hours on average, depending on product and packaging.

Does it require construction?

No. Every unit is containerized, plugs into your production line and is delivered in under 60 days and installed in 2–5 days.

What products can I freeze?

Seafood, meat, fruit, vegetables and prepared meals, among others. The 50HP and 75HP models are designed for dense product and large cuts.

Is remote monitoring included?

Yes. ZTrack is installed on every model and runs on a subscription, with real-time temperature, humidity and energy performance.

Can it also thaw product?

Yes. The 2TK and 5TK can run as fast thawing equipment, bringing frozen product back up to temperature in a controlled way.

What is the Industrial Blast Freezer?

ZGROUP's industrial blast freezer is a containerized batch freezer: you load full pallets of product, close the door, and high-velocity air at -40°F evaporating temperature takes the whole batch to frozen, in about 12 hours on average depending on product and packaging. Fast freezing protects texture and quality and frees your cold storage from slow, uneven freezing, so you can raise production output without building a freezer room. Four models: the 20' 2TK (4 pallets, 49,570 BTU/hr), the 40' 5TK (10 pallets, 123,925 BTU/hr), and the 50HP and 75HP (157,950 and 227,700 BTU/hr, over 60,000 CFM) for dense product.
